I first took notice of David Kean at an appeal hearing when he displayed his passion and guts by defending a highly opposed development project. He stood his ground in a fairly hostile room, pointed out several advantages of the developments and how it would positively impact the neighborhood. He seemed to have a good understanding of the important role development plays in the revitalization on a city. He has taken the time to educate himself on the workings of downtown development and his passion and belief in its future are contagious.
